I already have my PMP. How does this relate to Stanford APM? Do I need both?

The PMBOK® (Project Management Body of Knowledge) provides a solid, fundamental groundwork for project management as a discipline. The content of the Stanford Advanced Project Management program courses is designed to enhance the knowledge foundation PMBOK provides. Many participants consider Stanford APM to be the next step in project management education. The Stanford APM curriculum assumes the participant has mastered the operational and tactical aspects of project management, and it takes a strategic, enterprise-level approach. Stanford APM focuses on turning basic learning into action that ensures organizational excellence. Additonally, IP Solutions LLC is a Registered Education Provider (REP #1040) as recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Participants completing a full three-day course automatically earn 24 PDUs.
