Barba Kandarian is the IPS vice president of client relationship management and the business development manager for Stanford APM. She has over 25 years of experience, with a focus on operations, processes, and procedures. Barba has been with IPS since 1997, and has been responsible for negotiating all contracts and agreements, managing the inside sales team, and managing key clients. She has produced measurable results developing processes and programs at IPS that link virtual employees with the corporate office.
Before IPS, Barba was the operations manager for several mail-order companies, including Victoria's Secret, My Child's Destiny, Fortune's Inc., and Attitudes. In this role, she implemented systems, procedures, and tools to improve inventory control, purchasing, and customer service. Responsible for daily operations, she handled such tasks as merchandise selection, catalog production, marketing, and inventory liquidation. In these companies, Barba also oversaw all facets of catalog production, including copyediting and photography supervision.
Barba has a BS in fashion merchandising from the University of Arizona. She is a Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM).
