Tom is president and chief executive officer of IP Solutions, LLC. He brings to the company a strong track record of leadership and management results, business development, and relationship building in the professional services industry. Tom is particularly skilled in turnaround situations and has proven competencies in growing both top- and bottom-line results, while building strong, values-driven organizational cultures.
As president and CEO, Tom led the successful turnaround of Star Mountain, Inc. (now FPMI), a $65 million training and professional services company with a $10 million project management and services division. Under his management, Star Mountain's annual revenue increased 37 percent and profit grew 34 percent. Tom also founded and led, and later sold, a project management training company for which he negotiated and managed an educational partnership with Carnegie Mellon University and a sales and marketing alliance with SAP.
Previously, with ESI International, Tom sold and managed large-scale training programs for Global 1000 companies in 17 countries. He also established and managed ESI's European division, ESI Europe, LLC, based in London, UK. Earlier, as a senior manager with Fannie Mae's executive and leadership development unit, he developed and managed an award-winning leadership education program for 700 executives with an annual budget of $3 million.
