Ellen Maxwell is the vice president of instructor relations for IPS. She has been with IPS since 2004 and is responsible for recruiting, training, and scheduling the 40 Professional Associates who currently deliver IPS-branded project management and Stanford APM courses domestically and all over the world. In addition, she oversees the integrity of the Engagement Management System, which links directly to the Professional Associates Web portal, a tool that provides valuable client, course, and logistics information.
Before IPS, Ellen was the program manager at Integral Training Systems in Menlo Park, CA. There she worked with Fortune 500 clients to implement custom management training programs. She was responsible for instructor resourcing, logistics coordination, and the processing of an elaborate student assessment tool.
Additionally, Ellen was a licensed physical therapist assistant, treating patients at a California Central Valley hospital. She was also a resident firefighter during her college days for the City of Davis Fire Department, responding to medical and fire emergencies and dispatching calls.
Ellen has a BA from the University of California at Davis, and an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
